I don’t have a lot of time.

Both to update you on the status of my goals or of being a resident of Tulsa, Ok anymore. So quickly, let me tell you that progress on the 7x7 is good. There will soon be an entry on the latest endeavor: the Parent Project. It’s not what I would call “complete” but a sizeable portion of it has been accomplished and my oh my was it good. Seriously, talk to your family members. Ask them questions. Dive into your history. I know its hard to understand that these people did not always play the roles of Mother, Father, Uncle, Aunt, Grandfather, Grandmother, etc. but somehow the world did exist before we were in it and hearing them talk about it may not only be entertaining, but may also give you a new understanding of your place and purpose. More on that soon.

As of this post I have approximately 3 weeks left in Tulsa. Rather than some romanticized ending where every plot thread is neatly wrapped up or tied off, I feel as though I’ve just willingly plunged into a whirlpool. The further down I go, the faster the centrifugal force. Spinning round and round, until up is down and I’m unceremoniously dumped into whatever is on the other side (in this case the eastern seaboard).

Before that happens, however, I hope to see many of you and share a few more moments of laughter and fellowship. So be vigilant, checking your Facebook inboxes and event calendars, your Gmail accounts, your incoming texts, or watching the skies for smoke signals and magical owls. There’s not a lot of time, but there’s enough to have a good time. See you soon.
