Lately, one thing has become ABUNDANTLY CLEAR: it is indeed a small world after all. Every new person I meet seems to already know or be connected to someone else I’m friends with. This has made for some great connections, a few bits of hilarity, and the occasional tidal wave of supreme awkwardness. Regardless, there’s a clear interconnection of seemingly everyone in Tulsa and within that lies a solid opportunity. High time I make that power of connection work in my favor.

Goal #3:  story, play, or screenplay. This one is pretty simple - I want to tell a good story. A few posts back I mentioned how we have several other unspoken ideas floating around in our brains. In the fishbowl of my head, along with those ideas, I also have a handful of stories and tales, waiting to be set free upon the hapless public. Some are pure fiction, some are true. Some are no better than a Transformers sequel but at least one has the potential to squeeze tears of joy from and angry Simon Cowell.

Here’s where connectivity comes in. Surely someone out there, in the six degrees of separation, has some knowledge of who or where a can get a story published. Im talking anywhere – in a newspaper, the pages of a bathroom reader, the back of a truck stop t-shirt, tattooed on someone’s forehead, a billboard, skywriting, acted out by a midget Shakespearean theater company, or even shouted angrily by Bill O’Reilly. If you do have some intel or resources let me know. In the meantime I’ll get typing.
